Fondazione Donald De Sanctis was created to turn the lasting human and professional legacy of Don De Sanctis into a concrete and enduring commitment — a true expression of philanthropy aimed at supporting people in vulnerable conditions, especially children in need and their families.
As a recognized nonprofit in Italy, our foundation mission is to offer youth support and care for the most fragile, particularly those facing serious, rare, or chronic illnesses. We believe that every child, even in their most difficult moments, deserves dignity, care, and hope. That’s why we promote healthcare assistance, psychological support, and family care programs — ensuring that no one faces their journey alone.
But Don’s vision went far beyond healthcare. He firmly believed that education is one of the most powerful tools for changing the course of a person’s life. For this reason, Fondazione Donald De Sanctis invests in scholarships, research grants, and academic initiatives, giving deserving students and disadvantaged youth the chance to build a better future.
Every project we support reflects the social values that Don embodied throughout his life: integrity, responsibility toward others, determination, and unwavering belief in human potential.

Fondazione Donald De Sanctis strongly believes in the power of education as a tool for personal growth and social redemption. That’s why we support youth in need through scholarships, thesis awards, and educational activities for talented and underprivileged students, offering them real opportunities to shape their future.
Our goal is to guide new generations toward independence by nurturing their talents, resilience, and ability to overcome adversity. Each initiative is designed to promote inclusion, equal access to education, and the development of key life skills.
As Don De Sanctis used to say: "Culture is freedom. Knowledge opens roads where there were once only walls."
Alongside our direct initiatives, the Fondazione Donald De Sanctis works in collaboration with nonprofit Italy partners engaged in healthcare, social inclusion, educational philanthropy, and family support.
