Partnership for a concrete impact

We believe in the power of collaboration.
This is why the Donald De Sanctis Foundation supports and works alongside third sector realities that, every day, transform solidarity into concrete action.

We have chosen five extraordinary partners, different in their fields and approaches, but united by a common vision: to put the person at the centre, especially in the most fragile moments of life.
With their commitment, they contribute to advancing the values in which Don De Sanctis believed: care, talent, education, dignity.

Here are the NGOs we have chosen to support:

Associazione Amici di Lollo

Associazione Amici di Lollo

Lollo (Lorenzo Bonfanti) is a beautiful 5-year-old boy who passed away on March 27, 2011, due to a terrible, incurable disease.

Amici_di_Lollo

"Amici di Lollo" is a group born from an idea of his parents (Matteo and Luisa) and their many friends. In 2013, the group became a nonprofit organization that aims to promote childhood-related projects through events that focus on children and their wonderfully simple and serene nature. To carry out these projects, the Association has often collaborated with other organizations, the Municipality of Lissone, schools, hospitals, and other local associations.

Over the years, many projects have been implemented, such as the "Liberi Tutti" inclusive park where we are located, where able-bodied and disabled children can play together, thanks to games and spaces specifically designed for both. The park was created in 2013 in collaboration with the Municipal Administration and several associations such as "Noi mamme di Lissone."

The Lollo23 Project, a completely free transportation service from residences to hospitals using two very special vehicles, offered to families with sick children requiring special therapies, has become a permanent service, active even during the pandemic.

Officine Buone

Officine Buone

OFFICINE BUONE is a not-for-profit organization aimed at inclusion and participation of vulnerable people, including hospitalized children.

Officine Buone Special Stage Partner Fondazione Donald De Sanctis

Here are some of the key activities that Officine Buone realizes inside hospitals:

  • Special Stage: a music showcase for young volunteer musicians, held in hospital wards, where patients become judges of the exhibitions. The project runs all over the year in more than 40 hospitals and care centers in Italy.

  • Special Cook: cooking shows and workshops held by young volunteer chefs preparing healthy and tasty dishes for hospital patients. The project is realized in oncology wards and eating disorders wards, both for children and adults.

  • St.Art!: a drama class specifically designed for young patients with Eating Disorders, thanks to a crucial collaboration between professional actresses and medical teams.

  • Involontari di Domani an educational program, that introduces young students to numerous opportunities for volunteering in Milan, providing them with a chance to become active citizens and offer personal growth. The innovative training is able to broaden their mind, encourage dialogue and reflection, foster empathy and simultaneously serve as a significant alternative tool to assist young individuals facing serious vulnerability, isolation, or psychological distress.

For years, ACAR has providedsupport, attentive listening and reliable information to individuals and their families living with these conditions. la Coopagnia Teatrale Aps

la Coopagnia Teatrale Aps

No one has any idea when this all began; some say that the people in this group are conscious victims of the magic of theatre while everyone who has seen us shares our charity goal, gratifying us with their laughter and the warmth of their applause.

Since 2018 we have brought hundreds of people to the Theater, managing every year to dedicate significant sums to non-profit associations in the area and also to those who are in difficulty such as the populations of Emilia Romagna and the Municipality of Campi Bisenzio recently affected by the floods.

Coopagnia_Teatrale

We were also able to share the magic of the stage with "special" children, giving them the opportunity to live the experience of the stage and the warmth of the people and the applause.

Therefore, Theatre as a priority, but not the only, means of disseminating the values of solidarity, a tool for uniting our entertainment and fundraising, but also as a possible "therapeutic" form and a moment of integration on an equal footing.

"There are no professionals or great actors, there are only men and women, who dedicate their free time to becoming children again, turning into clowns, playing roles that are not their own, building an imaginary world above the stage: just to thank the audience present who have already responded to the request for help for those most in need."

Fulgor Fidenza

Fulgor Fidenza

The technical and educational project of Pallacanestro Fulgor Fidenza is built on a clear vision: guiding young athletes through a path of growth that is not only athletic but also personal, academic, and social. Over the years, the club has developed a solid organizational structure that allows athletes to reach their full potential in a healthy, stimulating environment, well integrated into the local community.

Fulgor Fidenza

Academic Education
The club works closely with Fidenza’s main educational institutions – Paciolo D’Annunzio, Berenini, and Magnaghi-Solari – facilitating the enrollment of its athletes in the “Student-Athlete” program. This initiative allows players to balance school and sport with flexibility and proper support. The schools offer a wide range of academic paths (including high school, technical, and vocational programs), so each student can pursue their personal interests without giving up their commitment to basketball.

Housing and Boarding Facilities
Fulgor Fidenza currently manages two boarding houses: one for under-17 athletes, located near the Paciolo D’Annunzio school, and another for under-19 players, in the city center close to all essential services. These facilities provide a safe, family-like environment, with constant support from tutors and staff.
Additionally, athletes have access to a dedicated “Study Room” inside the Pala Pratizzoli – the sports arena where training and games take place. This space is designed to help athletes focus on their studies between practices, equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a small kitchen area.
Looking ahead, the club is developing the Fulgor Academy, a cutting-edge sports and educational center next to the arena. It will host both boarding facilities and a school focused on sports management and education.

Community Engagement
Fulgor Fidenza is deeply rooted in the city and takes an active role in public life. Athletes regularly participate in charity work, events, and social initiatives. This strong bond creates a deep sense of belonging and turns every player into an ambassador of the values that define the club — both on and off the court.
