"Il cuore torna a giocare" è il titolo del convegno che si terrà il 25 ottobre 2025 presso l’ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII di Bergamo, promosso dall’Associazione di Volontariato L’Orizzonte di Lorenzo ONLUS, in collaborazione con la struttura ospedaliera.
Un appuntamento dedicato al rapporto tra sport e cardiopatie congenite nell’infanzia, pensato per valorizzare lo sport come strumento di benessere, riabilitazione e inclusione.
La Fondazione Donald De Sanctis, da sempre impegnata nel sostenere progetti che coniugano cultura, cura e impatto sociale, è fiera di essere partner di L’Orizzonte di Lorenzo, un'associazione che da oltre 20 anni accompagna le famiglie di bambini cardiopatici con empatia e concretezza.
Il convegno riunirà medici, psicologi, ricercatori e rappresentanti del mondo sportivo per offrire uno sguardo interdisciplinare sull’attività fisica come leva di crescita per i bambini con malattie cardiache.

“Il cuore torna a giocare” (The heart returns to play) is the title of the conference to be held on October 25, 2025, at the ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII hospital in Bergamo, promoted by L’Orizzonte di Lorenzo ONLUS, in collaboration with the hospital.
The event is dedicated to the relationship between sport and congenital heart disease in children, designed to promote sport as a tool for well-being, rehabilitation, and inclusion.
The Fondazione Donald De Sanctis, which has always been committed to supporting projects that combine culture, care, and social impact, is proud to be a partner of L'Orizzonte di Lorenzo, an association that has been supporting families of children with heart disease with empathy and practicality for over 20 years.
The conference will bring together doctors, psychologists, researchers, and representatives from the world of sport to offer an interdisciplinary view of physical activity as a lever for growth for children with heart disease.

A morning of discussion, led by Dr. Francesca Raimondi, which will culminate in a special testimony: the voice of a child who, despite everything, has chosen to return to playing.
